Michael G. March obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1986 from Memorial University in his hometown of St. John’s, Newfoundland. He then moved to Toronto and obtained his Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall in 1990.
He articled at the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton and practised in Ottawa with the firms of Bosada & Associates and Vandor & Co. for three years, largely in the fields of civil and commercial litigation.
Mike was introduced to the Upper Ottawa Valley by his future wife, Mary in 1994. He joined Johnson & Fraser shortly thereafter in January 1995 and the firm was renamed Johnson, Fraser & March. Since that time, Mike has developed a large and very successful criminal law practice. He has defended numerous accused facing a wide array of Criminal Code, drug and quasi-criminal offences.
